Introduction

A client approached us with a niche that is currently quite trendy - cryptocurrency. They needed only forum backlinks placed in the niche related threads with exact requirements.

After reviewing the website, we found that the topic was quite deep: blockchain nodes. We started to delve deeper. 

About project niche

Blockchain nodes are key components of any blockchain network. Nodes ensure the functioning of the blockchain, facilitating the realization of its core principles such as decentralization, security, and consensus in the cryptocurrency system.

The main role of blockchain nodes is to participate in the process of creating new blocks, verifying and confirming transactions, as well as maintaining the integrity and security of the network. Each node has a copy of the entire transaction history of the cryptocurrency in the blockchain and performs specific tasks to ensure the correctness of the data.

Task requirements

• DR>30 (70%) and DR>20 (20%) according to Ahrefs.
• Dofollow/Nofollow 60/40, but not less.
• Forum thread must be indexed at the time of publication (checked via site:)
• The stoplist at the start of the project consisted of about 500 domains.

The client had a clear link building strategy, which we optimized over 1,5 years of work. We focused on maximum compliance with the technical specifications and gradually increased the number of links by 5-10% each month.

Forum backlinks are a service for placing links on forums in threads that correspond to the project's niche, although the forum domain may be general. Progress

We have been working on the project since September 2022. Each month, we executed placements, starting with 15 forum links according to the client's technical specifications.

Placements for the project were made over 10 days, with a deadline usually around 14-17 days. This time was spent on selecting forums and finding thematic threads in the Google index.

The cost of one forum link was $6.

Over 1.5 years of SEO promotion with forum links, approximately $3,500 was spent, and about 585 links were placed.
